Massage Therapy

Equine Sports Massage is now considered an essential part of the maintenance and treatment of horses and ponies. Massage can benefit all horses... from children's ponies to top competition horses.

Massage keeps muscles healthy, strong and supple and prevents atrophy and injuries. Routine massage is highly recommended.

Fixing Problems

Many physical and behavioral problems can be traced back to muscle tension and dysfunction. Issues and problems can be resolved with massage therapy, as well as preventing new problems from arising.

Does your horse....

Prefer one rein over the other?

Struggle to canter in one lead?

Have any lateral stiffness?

Dislike being groomed and/or tacked up?

Show a hollow back?

Buck?

Appear cold backed?

Show lack of flexion and bend?

Tilt his head?

Have an uneven stride?

Hold his tail to one side?

All of these can be signs of discomfort, pain and compensatory problems that massage therapy can target to fix and improve. Massage is often recommended by vets and therapists regularly work along side vets to resolve issues and problems.
